In this section you will find information on our institution and our exchange programme for incoming students from partner universities.

We advise possible candidates to contact the International Relations Department of their university to validate their project and collect more information on international exchange procedures at home, before applying to exchange at IESEG.

Exchange Programme Information

This document details the application requirements to participate in our exchange programme (contacts, required documents, short academic calendar, academic information, housing, visa, health insurance, etc.).

NEW: ONLINE APPLICATION

You are required to read the “Exchange Programme Information” and then apply online on http://application.ieseg.fr/INInfo and follow the indicated procedure.

Please note that students who do not apply ONLINE will not be enrolled in our programme.

Fall 2010: Applications for Fall 2010, starting in August, are closed.
Spring 2011: applications for Spring 2011, starting in January 2011, will open late September 2010.

Academic calendar 2010-2011

You are requested to stay until the end of the scheduled exams. No special early exams can be arranged for you.

IESEG is closed the first 2 weeks of August.
Please note that nobody will be able to welcome you during this period.

List of courses available for exchange students 2010-2011

IESEG School of Management offers more than 200 courses taught in English. At Bachelor level, courses are taught in both French and English; while at Master level (also known as Master of Science in Management); courses are taught entirely in English.

In the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), the normal workload for a full-time student is 30 credits per semester. All exchange students have access to our Bachelor courses. Bachelor students having completed at least 2 years and Master students have access to Master level electives, namely, Extensive (one-semester long), Intensive (one-week long), Msc: Semester 1 and Msc: Semester 2 on our online course catalogue.

  • Course outlines

    Available courses for prospective exchange students at IESEG can be found in the above course list to download, as well as the explanation of the ECTS course code. Once you have this list, check "International > Course Catalogue" on our website for a better course research.

    For example, if you are looking for a Master level course taught during fall (1st semester), click on "Msc: Semester 1" link. A new page will open with a list of all courses offered that semester. Then click on course titles to open a course description which will detail the following: Level, Semester, Language of Instruction, Amount of ECTS Credits, Prerequisites, Learning Outcomes, Course Description, Class Type, and Assessment.

Orientation seminar

Schedule of the orientation seminar for exchange students - August 2010

This orientation week is MANDATORY.
In case you will be late for the orientation seminar (due to academic reasons at home university), you are required to advise Hélène GUINARD, our Incoming Students Coordinator (h.guinard@ieseg.fr) with your arrival date.

Pick-up service will be available only on the Monday preceding the orientation seminar.
Please send your arrival date / hour / train station in Lille (Lille Flandres or Lille Europe) to the International Club: clubinterieseg@gmail.com:

  • from beginning of August for an arrival in August
  • from beginning of December for an arrival in January

Housing information

This document details which type of housing is available on Lille campus, with rates and contacts detailed. You have to make your own booking arrangements.
Please do not hesitate to contact Hélène GUINARD (h.guinard@ieseg.fr) for any question about housing or for help, the sooner the better. More guidelines on housing specificities to be found in the Exchange Student Guide.
Hélène is also in contact with private landlords who rent rooms to students for previous semesters and who are expecting new tenants for next semesters.

Health Insurance

French Health insurance and complementary insurance for international students.
Please refer to “Exchange Programme Information” and the “Exchange Student Guide” to check if you are required to subscribe to the French health insurance.
