“Grande Ecole” Programme
IESEG: experts in the 5 year programme
In 1978 IESEG became the “pioneers” in the 5 year “Grande Ecole” programme. It is one of the very few schools to have a 3 year Bachelor in Business Administration programme followed by a 2 year Masters of Science in Management.
This type of course structure offers many advantages such as:
- It is standardised to meet the requirements of international criteria, makes exchanges easier and allows courses to be recognised by our partner universities.
- Introduction of courses taught in English from the 1st year , allowing for an international mind-set early in the cursus.
- Allows the students to acquire knowledge over 5 years in the main business areas: Management, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Information Systems
- Access to 4 obligatory internships that will enhance their “know-how” both nationally and internationally in that they must spend a least 4 months abroad on an internship.
- Personal development programme in many areas such as: group work, creativity, facility to adapt and communicate…
- Possibility of taking part in student exchange programmes between the 2nd and 5th year of the cursus. 80% of the students take part in these exchanges.
- The presence of the academic faculty and foreign students.
After the 5 year cursus an IESEG student is able to:
- be operational as a junior manager
- understand the strategy of a company
- contribute to change within the firm
- to be aware of ethical and intercultural issues
