Jobs and Careers
Career Centre
The Career centre follows and advises students all along the Master program. It gives specific tips and help on CV writing, cover letters writing in French and English, and pieces of advice on recruitment interviews.
Professionnal Project
Three careers advisers coach students to help them define their professional project:
- Students are presented with types of positions they can apply to as fresh graduates
- Students receive information on the “culture” of the main branches of industry,
- Students take a personality test called MBTI, a tool that helps understand who they are and how well they can adapt to different types of jobs.
- Students have individual interviews to define and develop their project.
- Students have the opportunity to attend sessions of improvement for job search tools.
In short, each student can determine an optimized search to successfully prepare his/her new professional career.
Increase your contacts with companies
The Career Centre has established excellent relationships with local and international companies and organizations for many years. Regularly, students receive internship and job offers on their email account. In addition, many events are organized all year long so that students have the opportunity to meet and exchange with company executives (e.g.: corporate talks, company meetings…)
Develop your personal network
Here are the missions of the IESEG Alumni Association (AAIÉSEG - www.anciens-ieseg.com):
- develop contacts between alumni and students
- consolidate the links Alumni have in companies
- create links among alumni through the organizations of informal friendly events (after work meetings…)
- help alumni in their job search and career management, thanks to a center dedicated to those missions.
AAIÉSEG organizes “corporate talks” in cooperation with the Career center. The purpose of those conferences is for students to discover a job, a branch of industry, or a specific problematic of the job market through varied experiences lived by alumni or other professionals.
AAIÉSEG contacts alumni to get internship offers especially in foreign countries.
AAIÉSEG developed a Web platform gathering student CV in their final year of studies. This link is sent to nearly 15 000 corporate contacts to help student find a job.
