IESEG School of Management

Testimonials

What do some of our former and current students think about the MSc ?

I decided to join the MSc program because of the reputation of the IESEG diplôme de Grande École. It has been ranked as the best five-year business school in France for a few consecutive years.

The high diversity of student and professor body makes the course and classroom extremely dynamic. Creative and instructive ideas often pop out during the team-project discussion which usually involves several nationalities. The professors are very helpful and always ready to have discussion with students.

Lille itself is an open and intercultural city. Plus it is the second biggest student town in France with a big variety of after-class activities. Living in Lille and studying in IESEG has been one of my most memorable experiences up to now. I would like to come back to Lille in the future and spend a few more years there.

I decided to become a member of the IESEG's Master Degree in Management program because I was looking for an international business oriented program that truly challenged my personal and intellectual skills when having the opportunity to develop teamwork with people from all around the world.

At IESEG, I have studied the Master of Science in Operations Management. I have chosen for IESEG in Lille mainly because of the high degree of international orientation of this school. The vast majority of all professors are foreigners. They come from all corners of the world and carry a lot of hands-on, real life experience. The language of instruction and overall communication is therefore English. Due to its strong international relations with partner schools in amongst others: the USA, UK, India, China, and Australia, IESEG has developed specialism in all important fields that relate to business management, i.e. finance, human resources, marketing, logistics, and audit & control. During my final year of studies, consisting of an executive internship and consulting project (final thesis), both abroad, my thesis supervisor came to visit me several times. The informal, personal approach and professional guidance during this final year made the project very successful. I am now ready to kick-start a career in consultancy, like I always wanted, in China.
