A young, dynamic city
With 28% of the population under the age of 20, Lille is the city that contains the youngest people in the whole of France.
It is the biggest regional conurbation with more than 100, 000 students.

The conurbation of Lille has a strategic place in:

Tourism
Due to the dynamism and cultural diversity Lille was chosen to be the European Capital of Culture in 2004.
Today, Lille is the most visited city for short trips. Since 2004 and as a result of the success of it being the European Capital of Culture, every 2 years there will be a cultural event organised in and around Lille, where we will see the area open to different cultures. The new events will be under the title of “Lille 3000”.

A campus in the heart of the city
IESEG has over 1500 students but manages to treat each student as an individual even though it is part of the large campus of the Catholic University of Lille, that counts 20,300 students, 6 faculties, 25 schools and 40 research teams.
Belonging to the Catholic University of Lille means that Ieseg students and staff can share the facilities available: academic partnerships, 13 libraries, restaurants, halls of residence, a large sports centre and medical centre…. As IESEG is in the city centre there are numerous possibilities for students wishing to enhance their culture, leisure activities and hire apartments or studios.
Modern and easy to use premises and tools
IESEG’s premises ( classrooms, multimedia centres, cafeterias and offices are accessible to students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All the students have a magnetic badge that allows personal access.
More than 200 computers connected to internet are available to the students and teachers.
Vauban University library has over 55 000 books and more than 600 magazines making it a modern “high-tec” area.
IESEG is a place where students and teachers can study and meet.
IESEG halls of residence
Concordia
- Built in 2004, the residence's halls are mainly reserved for 1st year students. They are a 10 minute walk from IESEG and have 125 self-contained studios and apartments with fitted kitchen and bathroom.
- Each studio has telephone, internet and television aerial sockets. The electric heating has an individual meter for each studio.
- On the ground floor there is a hall where the students can have breakfast (included in the price) or use as a work room for group work. In addition there is a television room that can also be used as a rest room for relaxation or to hold certain events. In the basement there is a launderette with washing machines and tumble dryers as well as a garage for bicycles, all of these for student use.
- The monthly rent starts at 453 euros depending on the size of the studios and facilities required.
Estrella
- Opened in 2007, this hall of residence is only 200 metres from the school. It can hold 19 students.
- Facilities available: maid-service, repairs, internet connection, breakfast, kitchen, launderette and a pleasant garden area.
