IESEG History
- 1964 – Creation of IESEG
- 1976 - IESEG acknowledged by the French Ministry of Education
- 1978 – “Grande Ecole programme”goes from a 4 year cursus to 5 years
- 1985- IESEG diploma accredited by the Ministry of Education: “Visa”
- 1990- IESEG becomes a member of “LABORES”, a research unit linked to the CNRS
- 1997 – IESEG becomes a member of the “Conférence des Grandes Ecoles”
- 1998 – Joined the EFMD
- 2003- Diploma re- accredited by the Ministry of Education and “Grade de Master” given to the school.
- 2003 – Launch of Master of International Business programme (MIB)
- 2003- Opening of new extension on Lille campus
- 2004 – Re- accreditation of the diploma and Masters degree by the Ministry of Education
- 2004 – Eligible to apply for EQUIS accreditation
- 2004 – Creation of IESEG International Advisory Board
- 2006 – IESEG becomes a member of the LEM, UMR CNRS 8179, and is the first business school to be involved in the “Unité Mixte de Recherche” of the CNRS
- 2006 – 1st agreement of a twinning programme with Loyola College in Chennai, India
- 2007- New extension of the Lille campus
- 2008 – Opening of the Paris campus
- 2008 – Eligible to apply for AACSB accreditation
- 2008 – CEPI Management ( Executive education centre) becomes the responsibility of IESEG
- 2008- The Lille CPA programme becomes the CPA IESEG Executive MBA
- 2009- The Paris campus moves to the “ Grande Arche de la Défense”.
